"This a large delightful second floor apartment which has a lot of positive character. It is very well located - a 7/8 minute walk to the town centre. The facilities in the property are of a very high standard and parking alongside the property is very convenient, There is an honesty wine fridge, if needed, with a fair selection."

"Access instructions were only sent on the day of arrival which created some anxiety having spent a great deal of time beforehand travelling to Epernay"

"Nothing although my brother tripped on the bottom step when leaving and broke a bone in his ankle. The bottom step is not the same colour as the other steps but is the same colour as the floor which may have been the cause or may just have slipped . Be careful but it is a beautiful apartment"

"It was great to have an apartment to ourselves. We particularly liked having a kitchen and washing machine/ dryer. The kitchen was very handy as a lot of restaurants were closed or didn't open until 7pm and we prefer to eat earlier. So we were able to get food at some of te fabulous local delis and relax in the evening. The place was spacious with most things you need."

"The hosts responded quickly to questions and were helpful. We never managed to locate the games room as we couldn't find the instructions but didn't really need it. Similarly, the instructions for the bins could be clearer. A few little extras like tissues, washing powder etc would have been helpful. There are currently workman on a roof who can see through the bathroom window which doesn't have a blind. But these are little things, easily remedied and overall we loved our stay."

"The apartment is in a fabulous location with secure parking behind an electric gate. The apartment itself is clean and spacious and very well equipped and has the added bonus of an AC unit (which was very effective although very noisy!). We are a family of 5 and we had plenty of space, a huge fridge/freezer and we were genuinely very comfortable. The coffee pods were a lovely touch and there is wine and champagne stocked in the fridge, which you can purchase (although it was a little pricey for us!). The bathroom is large with a separate toilet (always good!), with a very good supply of towels. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable."

"The owner sends through the instructions for check-in very late - we had already left England so I had to pay for mobile data to pick them up, which was slightly frustrating. The 5th person needs to sleep on a sofa bed in the lounge, which was absolutely fine (and was a very comfortable sofa bed!), but the noise from the AC unit was a lot to put up with in that room as it was pretty much at the foot of the bed! For a family/party of 4, this won’t be a problem as the doors to the bedrooms completely blocked out the sound. The garage key is a little temperamental and often took several tries to get it to work (I think the main problem was that it was cracked). On the whole though, this is a great place for the cost and I would recommend it."

"We were fortunate enough to spend four full days in the gite. There were four of us (adults) and we enjoyed it BIG time. The gite is fully equipped and beautifully furnished. The location is ideal, near the town center. There are good restaurants, delicious bakeries, and lovely coffee shops nearby. Avenue de Champagne is within walking distance, which is a real bonus, as there are alcohol/police checks every day. The host was fantastic; we immediately fell in love with his car collection."

"Isabelle’s place was brimming with charm and a homely feel. It was perfectly clean and Isabelle provided clear instructions for check in and check out. I was there with my wife and 3 kids and we absolutely loved it! Shame to have to leave, Epernay was simply stunning."

"Excellent central location,, 10 minutes walk from Avenue de Champagne. secure car parking, wine cooler with wines, including champagne, for sale - just help yourself and leave money on the table. Good coffee machine with plentiful supply of capsules. Isobelle was a very friendly host."

"Top floor with winding stairs, no lift - not too bad for us, but some would struggle. Free standing air con unit struggled to cope with 30+ degrees c. Check in information only emailed to us 3 hours before our arrival while en route, gave me some anxiety but I understand this is not uncommon these days, don't know what would have happened if we didn't have roaming on our mobiles."
