"Incredible host - kind and friendly. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean, with really nice furnishings. We were given some of the owner's cheese and some Easter chocolate upon arrival (thank you!) as well as an introduction to the area and some recommendations. The bathroom was really clean and the kitchen was well equipped, and the private parking was a big plus. The location is perfect - nestled in a quiet wine and cheese village, and only a 5 minute drive from the town of Sancerre. Lovely and quiet at night with some village energy during the day. Genuinely can't fault this lovely little gîte."

"I’m not sure that I have ever seen such a clean and tidy property. Very well equipped with everything one could need and the apartment is situated in the very heart of the beautiful village of Chavignol with dedicated parking by the front door. Monsieur Dubois could not have been more helpful either. A great place to stay."

"Very clean and friendly host. Rooms were basic but in accordance with pictures. The location in the village is very central and comfortable. Would definitely come back!"

"The sleeping couch slopes slightly downwards. It slept fine for a single person, for two people I can imagine it would be uncomfortable."
