"Stedet lå i en god afstand fra rejsens startpunkt. Stemningen var hyggelig. Vi mødte straks folk vi kom på bølgelængde med Hyggelig middag ved langbord. Vi boede i eget værelse med eget badeværelse. Værelset var fuldstændigt rent. Der var en altan med flot udsigt over bjerg og dal. Værtinden Natalie var sød og imødekommende."

"Such a lovely place to spend first night of Camino Francés. Stunning view from our room and warm room where we could get dry as it had been very wet. Communal pilgrim supper and all staff very friendly and helpful. Meant we didn’t have such a long hike to Roncasvalles."

"I stayed in a private room on my first night of the Camino and it was a good place to stop after travelling all day and then just over an hour's walk on the Napoleon route. They provide a dinner and it was very good and filling so plenty fuel for the following day. I didn't take the breakfast as I chose to stop at orrison after another couple of kilometres as I'm not an early eater but I heard from others I walked with that it was also good. The place has some tables and chairs, vending machines and a bathroom which are outside and open if you arrive early which was good to relax a little. Place was very clean and the hosts were friendly."

"Steep drive there but worth it for the views. Breakfast was early at 7am so we missed it! But the evening meal the night before was absolutely delicious so more than made up for our laziness."
"Fantastic place with great staff. If you bike there, Be aware you have a 3.5km hill climb to the hotel harder than le Tourmalet. Might make the end of your stage super hard."
