"The location and how clean and modern the apartment was."

"We booked at an hour's notice, after arriving in Espelette to find that the accommodation we had previously reserved elsewhere wasn't suitable. Once we got in contact the owner (who was out of town) and the manager on site were extremely helpful and kind (despite our dreadful French - sorry!) and took us in. We could not have been more relieved as our small ensuite room was delightful: beautifully furnished, comfortable and charming. Breakfast was brought to the room and was delicious. Secure parking on site. Merci beaucoup!"

"very close to metro station, there are some shops and bakeries around, quite neighbourhood. safe building, close to outlet village and disneyland, only a couple of minutes drive or 1 -2 stops with metro, kitchen staff is quite good for families"

"The location was perfect for accessing Disneyland Paris and the nearby train station for trains into Paris, once we'd eventually worked out how to buy tickets! The loft conversion was great and allowed our three children to share a room with space to play - gutted I didn't have time to use the gym equipment fully. Lovely garden and once again not enough spare time to use it though as we were pretty busy with our plans. The little football court and river nearby was nice and we found time for a little kick about. The owner was very responsive and helpful with our queries and when they popped round they helped us with planning our travel plans. The owner took our empty glass for us to the disposal which is much appreciated."

"Loved the pool, it was fabulous and the grounds are gorgeous. A really beautiful place to stay, lovely decor. The fact that our room was air conditioned was a real bonus and the access to a pool makes it a really great place to stay and relax. I don't think every room has air conditioning though!"

"Absolutely fanatic apartment for a short stay in Roubaix (we came as a group of three for the Paris Roubaix sportive). Having the garage for the bikes is great and the apartment was very impressive. It was like a lovely mini art gallery. It’s part of the same house where the owners live but they are lovely, helpful and not intrusive. The floor of the apartment is reached via lift. It’s 5km from the velodrome (an easy safe cycle ride away) and a short 1.5km walk into the centre of Roubaix and metro to Lille."
