"The beds were very comfortable, both in the bedroom and the pull down bed in the lounge. The flat had everything we needed, from travel plug adapters to tasty coffee pods and plenty of toilet roll! Claude the host welcomed us and gave us lots of local information."

"The flat was warm and cosy, but the heating went off very early so we had to snuggle under the blankets (provided) after 8.30pm."

"It felt very homely and very safe as there are two access doors, which you need the key fob to get into the building. The area outside the apartment is quite lit up by automatic sensors when anyone walks by. At night is quiet peaceful even though it situated near to bar, restaurant and cafe. The place is situated in the middle of most of sightseeing place within walking distance and if you fancy to travel further out, the metro rihour is close by. The location is perfect as you are close to lots of restaurants and cafe within walking distance. When you arrive by Eurostar, it is about 10-15mins to get to apartment. The owner Claude was amazing, he met us near the apartment as we were arriving earlier and allow us to drop off our bags. During our stay, I was able to communicate to him via WhatsApps about anything. He made me and my friend feel very welcome to lille. I will definitely recommend anyone to stay at this apartment."

"When you enter the gate, you have to be careful as you need to go down some staor on your right to enter the building, which is step are small and area is in L-shape, so you have to watch you steps. This area isn't that well lit at night, so it is hard to see where you are stepping down, when the main hall light in building isn't on."

"excellent location, kind and polite host who checked us in late in the evening. The accommodation is split in one big room comprising of open plan kitchen and living room which includes a folding comfy double bed and a smaller room with built in wardrobes and another double bed. Modern finishings and appliances including filter coffee maker and capsule coffee maker as well as basic ingredients available. Perfect for a family or couple stay at the centre of the old town with lots of bars, restaurants, shops and the central square at close walking proximity."

"only minor issue is that the accommodation can be a little humid however there is a good dehumidifier available which we made use of and was all ok."
