"Great location. Lovely helpful hostess. Nice modern house with plenty of room. The garden is large and fully fenced (no gaps for our little terrier to sneak out through). Short walk to the village if you follow the path through the woods behind the house."

"Lovely, freshly updated, house in quiet neighbourhood. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. I walked the perimeter to check the fence and not even our tiny terrier could find a gap so he had the freedom to run circuits around the garden. The kitchen is well equipped and was stocked with tea and coffee and some nice biscuits from one of the nearby chateaux. The host is delightful and very helpful. Couldn't be happier with our stay."

"Property was immaculate. The garage was made available for our three motorbikes. The owner waited for us to arrive which was very kind of her as we were running late due to bike problems. A lovely lady."

"The location of property is very good if you would like to explore nearby castles and other attractions. The property itself is magnificent, with fenced very nice garden, so if you come with a dog or other pet it is very convenient. It was very clean, with many appliances and very comfortable providing 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, toilet and garage - just to add, we spent our time there with 2 kids and a dog. The neighbourhoud is very quiet and relaxing, there is a huge park with play ground just a short walk from the house. On the other hand, in the town nearby, you can find some useful services, perfect bakeries with organic bread and snacks, restaurants, laundry service facility, Intermarche, Lidl, gas station and many other. The owners were extremely nice and helpful all the time. If you are looking for a quiet place to come to with family, and you want to explore the Valley of Loire, it is a more than perfect place for you."

"This apartment is in "Le Gallic" an Art Deco block overlooking the iconic Plage de l'Ecluse. The lobby to the building has 1920s original features including old-style lifts (there is a more modern goods-lift if you have larger suitcases). The apartment itself is perfectly modern, with all the necessary equipment, whilst benefiting from decent sized-rooms and high ceilings that were typical in good quality buildings a hundred years ago."

"The owners/hosts were very friendly. Although they spoke no English and we no French, they would usually have someone from the camp connected to the home accompany them in talking with us. They were very kind and helpful. Initially, the home was lacking several items — trash cans, some kitchen utensils, etc —but they quickly brought us what was requested. The immediate yard and area around the house was lovely, a well tended garden, flowers, etc., but it is right next door to a campsite. It was very quiet and restful. While there's not a lot to do within walking distance, the house is less that 15 minutes from Bayeoux and less that 30 minutes to the D-Day Beaches."
