"What stands out here is the facilities of the house - great terrace, big common kitchen and common spaces, it has everything one needs and more, and it is very well decorated. The bathroom on our floor was very clean. We didn't have direct contact with owners but everything went smoothly with the instructions. Arrived late for an overnight stay so didn't get a chance to look at the area, quite unfortunately"

"We spent one night at Douai House, and it was perfect! The center of Douai is just few minutes away on foot. The apartment is spacious and comfortable for a family of four, and the kitchen is well equipped for a short stay. We were on a stopover in the city, so to have access codes to get inside the building and apartment was very pratical."

"Only problem for us was getting there in the car as there were road closures affecting the road. However the owner had kindly sent a map to help out."
"Excellent location and a perfectly functional apartment, clean and with everything you need for a short stay. Quiet location and free parking 500m away in Arsenal car park. Several shared seating areas inside and outside make it feel more spacious. Beds were very comfortable, nice shower."
"The parking was only a short way away which was absolutely fine in the dry but it would have been a bit more difficult in the wet. Bedrooms and kitchen would have been a bit cramped for a long stay but totally fine for a few nights."

"Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle à la Suite 55 ! L'hôtel a dépassé toutes nos attentes avec un accueil chaleureux, notamment grâce à Manon, d'une gentillesse incroyable. Les plats, faits maison, étaient exquis, et le petit déjeuner, toujours au rendez-vous, un véritable délice. Le service est impeccable et toujours à l'écoute. Un petit conseil : réservez directement, c'est bien plus avantageux. C'est un lieu à ne pas manquer, surtout si vous cherchez une expérience mémorable"

"We were very close to bakery and food stores so it was very easy self-cater. However there were many good restaurants nearby as well. The location was excellent for taking the cable car to the different vantage points in the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley. We didn't have our own car but were able to walk everywhere."
