Situated 900 metres from the town centre of Mâcon, the Cit'Hotelkompleks Escatel overnatningssted offers free WiFi access, an outdoor swimming lagune and payed private parking. "Arriving at 5.30pm we had to check-in using the booth as the main entrance to the hotel was closed and the side entrance/ fire escape to gain access to our room. There was no staff.It felt like the Mary Celeste! However, the room was large, clean, and the bed very comfortable. Despite ongoing renovation work, breakfast was available the following morning with a great selection and the reception area was staffed."

"perfect no-frills solution for a overnight stop during a road trip. The Hotel is spotless clean, all facilities are in excellent shape, the personnel is friendly. The location is definitely not picturesque (do not choose this hotel for a romantic getaway :-)), but it's hard to bet if you are by car. 2 minutes from the highway, but still quiet. Parking in front of the hotel."
