"Vi havde to overnatninger med vores børn på dette dejlige lille hyggelige og rolige slot i Genay. Vi boede i et af tårnværelserne med udsigt til park og bjerge i det fjerne. Værelset var hyggeligt indrettet og sengene gode. Skøn pool, lækker morgenmad med hjemmebagte lækkerier. Servicen var i top og værten var god til at hjælpe med anbefalinger til spisesteder, sightseeing mm. Der manglede ingenting. Vi brugte dagen i Lyon, hvor man nemt kommer til med bus og metro."

"Breakfast was fresh and wonderful. There were eggs, yogurt, and fresh breads, juice from local farmers. Our family immensely enjoyed it as well as our hosts hospitality. The farmers market was well worth visiting we got fresh pāté and Cordon Bleu and some fresh made yogurts and juice and there is a nice mini kitchen in our room to cook and warm things up."

"A wonderful place to stay. The manor is beautifully restored and truly takes you back in time. Definitely one of the most special places we have ever stayed in! The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire manor was spotlessly clean. The host is so caring and warm. I must especially highlight how exceptional the breakfast was! Everything served comes from nearby small local producers. There were also homemade sweet pastries and house-made jams. Simply amazing! The breakfast alone is already a reason to stay there. Absolutely wonderful, and I only regret that we stayed for just one night!"

"Beautiful place! Premises are so beautifully furnished , atmosphere is great. Huge room , clean, excellent shower. It's a stay one does not forget.There is a nice pool for the summer period and large garden to relax.Breakfast is fantastic,many home made options .Host is very nice and helpfull"

"Amazing renovation of a beautiful chateau. Arnaud has done an amazing job here, with just 4 bedrooms it is a small & personal place, we absolutely loved it. The bedroom was huge, beautifully renovated with period furnishings and decor. Super comfy "super king size" bed and the quiet manicured gardens surrounding the chateau made for a peaceful night sleep. Great Breakfast all included in the super value for money price. Arnaud could not have been more welcoming, showing us around and explaining the painstaking renovation he has taken on and he has created a small chateau hotel that I would recommend 100% to anyone staying in the area. I have already passed the details onto several friends. Even if you are looking for a staycation, then do yourselves a favour and book a night or two here, you will not be disappointed"

"A lovely restored 14th century Chateau with all of the conveniences one would expect in a high end hotel. Our room was spacious with a comfortable king size bed and fabulous views of the grounds.The. breakfast was a delight with homemade jams, various loafs and locally sourced products.Arnaud was a great host and talked about his future plans for the estate which will only make it more of a must stay."
