"Super god 3-retters aftensmad. Morgenmaden var hovedsageligt hjemmelavet og var helt fantastisk. Værten er god til Engelsk, og hun ville gerne fortælle os om den hjemmelavede mad og området. Værelserne var sjove og "magiske" at opleve. Vi kommer gerne igen."

"Vi ankom i en hedebølge (tæt på 40°), og værelset kunne derfor godt bruge en A/C. Stedet er lidt svært at finde, da Google Maps guider en om på en bagvej."

"A beautiful and charming château with amazing views and a very peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and full of character, and Elizabeth and Gilles are incredibly welcoming and attentive. The homemade breakfast was delicious and really special. A unique and memorable place to stay. Highly recommended."

We have stayed in many places on our travels and this topped them all. The owners are accommodating and friendly. Good company and a great hostess. Definitely going back. "Everything! The grandure of the property, the decor in the communal areas, the decor in the bedroom, the most comfiest bed ever, with the most amazing views. The hosts were fabulous and explained where we could get food as we stayed out of season not many places were open. Breakfast the following morning was beautiful and such an attentive host. "What can I say, we only stayed one night, wish we had reserved another. The welcome was lovely by the owner and our room beyond our dreams, the decor was really well thought out, large room, toilet in the turret and a stunning sparkly bathroom with a shower to die for. The lighting in the bedroom superb, there is a coffee machine, kettle and mini bar. The bed was so comforable didn't want to get up for breakfast, but so glad we did... Superb breakfast, fresh fruit, with homemade yoghurt, croissants, homemade bread, jams, marmalade. All in all the château is furnished with the most interesting paintings, sculptures and objects. Had a fantastic one night stay."

"We are four retired Canadians on an extended road trip through France. Staying at Chateau Druon -- not to mention the beautiful drive through the Pyrénées to get there -- was certainly a highlight of our trip. When Elizabeth and Gilles bought the property, it was a ruin. Twelve years later, it is a little piece of paradise, not to mention incredibly affordable. The artwork throughout the house is next level. The unique and eclectic decor and comfortable furnishings in each bedroom are nothing short of fantastic. Elizabeth's cooking is delicious and her personal service and narration of the reconstruction process were a joy. Thank you both! Very well done. We would definitely stay here again."
