"What did you like? Absolutely beautiful place — without question the most stunning I’ve stayed at on the Camino. Every corner is filled with thoughtful details, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere. The owner is genuinely wonderful and welcoming, and you can tell she pours her heart into this place. It feels more like a home than a hotel — truly five-star in every way."

"Right in the heart of Pied but so peaceful, a lot of thought has gone into this boutique hotel, the whole place was amazing, the hostess wonderful, bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Out the front door the next morning and on the Camino in 5 minutes. Highly recommended."

"Great location central old St Jean pied de port. Access instructions clear and easy. Room was clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. Small bathroom. There was air conditioning available. The room was quiet as it was not on the street side."
"Our room was under a sloping roof and my husband kept hitting his head on the ceiling beams. The only window was a skylight which we had to close when it rained so we used the aircon to keep the room cool."
"We were able to leave our luggage in the Maison Bernat as we arrived at 11am. Although not particularly present when we arrived after breakfast Marjory showed us her beautiful garden and was very friendly. The decor was very tasteful and clean. Exceptionally comfortable. I would definitely recommend . We hadn’t reserved breakfast but Marjory was fine about accommodating us"

"Françoise and Eric were great hosts, they received us very well, and were always ready to accommodate us. They also gave us great tips on visiting the area, which is beautiful. The house is well located with amazing views and a relaxing environment, and the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was homemade and very good. We definitely recommend it!"

"Very quiet, very clean, basic accommodation but larger than average basic room. Excellent garden area and terraces to sit outside. Good breakfasts and excellent meals available at good prices. Think we tried most things on the menu! Friendly couple who run the Auberge. Safe for motorcycle parking."

"Just about everything. The owner was exceptional in welcoming us. In fact all the staff are great. The rooms are set back from the road and in our case both overlooked the countryside. Very quiet. Rooms are large for French countryside. They were immaculately clean. The restaurant is particularly good. Fresh, clean and well prepared food. The set menu selected was one of the best I’ve had for the price. I would eat there again without hesitation. The staff were excellent."
