"Laon is a magical medieval town in a beautiful location with a cathedral and fabulous views and walks There are also some great bars and restaurants. Chambres Boufflet is situated in a central location in a historical building with quirky features The rooms are fairly basic but perfectly adequate and each room has an ensuite with a bath tub I love taking a bath so this is a huge draw for me Most rooms have 3 beds and I have stayed frequently as a stopover between my home in London and central France It is great value for money"

"Very central. Very quaint and pretty. Views of the quirky town gardens. Comfortable bed. Able to park for free overnight directly opposite. Glass floors showing the tunnels underneath the beautiful and historic town."

"It was very centrally located and perfect for our needs. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The owner was great at communicating and super friendly and helpful."

"Excellent location in centre of 'old' Laon. It's the second time we've stayed here. Very good for single night stopover. Warm rooms, comfortable beds, quiet (despite bar next door which we couldn't here at all). Plenty of restaurants nearby - Grill L'AMAÏDÉ (good pizzas) is a short walk and stays open until 10pm. The door for the apartment is not easy to spot - and remember to call the host when you arrive (if they don't answer the door/aren't open). We stayed in a double room; the 3 children stayed in a triple room on the same floor across the landing. We will happily stay here again."

"Parking close by can be a little awkward. But it's an easy drop off with plenty of parking around 5-mins walk away."

"The accommodation is in a central location in the beautiful town if Laon, a citadel which towers above the surrounding countryside, with an imposing Gothic church and quaint streets and alleys. The accommodation is basic, buy clean and good value. The proprietor is friendly and helpful."

"Not a dislike, but worth letting the owner know any change in ETA, as accommodation is in demand and if you pay on arrival it's reassuring for her."
