"Beautiful, well presented property. All the decor was gorgeous and well thought out. It catered for every need. From the gift basket on arrival to the fresh eggs. The washing machine was so handy. It had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We will be recommending to friends and family."

"The area around La Brenne is very rural and quiet, this property is located within a village, La Villatte, and it is well worth the trip on winding country roads. I can highly recommend it to families, friends traveling together. it was a way station on our way to Gers and southern France. The hostess is very friendly and welcoming and keen to ensure that our stay was pleasurable. The village and the property is probably a 30 minutes drive from main roads so plan for this - but again a very nice stay. There are superb restaurants within a 20-minute drive."

"The environment was relaxing and the chickens were very entertaining. The hosts left a croissant basket with treats in the apartment with orange juice, milk, jam, and chocolates. So awesome! The gîte itself was very well renovated and the beds and bathrooms were excellent. It was fun to walk around the property. We highly recommend staying here."

"Isabel.s house was spacious and immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of extra bed linen’ towels and pillows if required. The kitchen was well-equipped, and easy to cook in. We particularly enjoyed the fire, which was easy to operate, with abundant wood left for our use. The fact that we were able to bring our son.s dog was a real advantage, and he enjoyed the wooded area at the back of the house. Isabel had decorated the house beautifully for Christmas, and we felt at home straightaway. Isabel was a lovely host. She was warm and friendly, and had been so kind as to leave us a range of home-made goods for our arrival. They were much appreciated. Thank you so much Isabel -we do hope to be back!"
