"Fabulous location. Easy walk into the old city with its restaurants and cafes. Clean apartment with good kitchen area. We only stayed one night and didn’t cook but you could easily self cater there."

"The parking is extremely tight. It would be impossible to get into in anything other than a small car. There is a car park nearby and possibly some on road parking if you can find a space."

"The apartment was very near the steps leading up to the old city. The hosts left provisions for breakfast which were very good. Also nice to have bottles of water available. Many restaurants are within walking distance and of course in the old city. Hard work climbing the steps but worth it. We enjoyed wandering around. Many thanks to the host for kindly taking us to the train station at 7.30am. He informed us that it was not easy to get a taxi and would not accept any fee which was very kind of him."

"We expected to see a line of taxis at Carcassonne airport but there was not one in sight. There was a bus which drove into the city and the bus driver told us which stop to get off at which was very helpful."
