"It is a family run hotel and everyone was friendly and helpful. A great atmosphere. I was on foot and there was heavy rain so the owner offered to drive me to a nearby restaurant and she then picked me up afterwards and brought me back. Great breakfast too."

"The hosts could not have been more helpful. I am walking the GR10 and arrived a day late!! I wasnt charged any extra. The room was superb. The breakfast excellent. I left my phone charger and the host drove it to me!! Over and above waht is expected, If I could give the hotel any more stars I would!!!"

"Hotel rural en zona tranquila a las afueras de Ascain. Personal muy amable y atento. Nos recomendaron donde cenar en Ascain. Hablan en euskera y castellano. El alojamiento tiene parking. Las camas eran cómodas."

"Beautiful house. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom and there is air conditioning throughout, The beds and bedding are really comfortable. We all slept really well. The pool and grounds are really nice and the area around is so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped with top quality pots and pans."

"We booked a two night stay as we were attending a wedding in nearby Pommiers followed by a reception in Denicé. The accommodation was excellent. The room was air conditioned, which was amazing as the temperature when we were there was in the 30s. The room was large and beautifully decorated and had all the facilities you could hope for in a top hotel, including an impressive ensuite (including a spa bath) and a very comfortable bed. The owner was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The continental breakfast was very generous and tasty. We didn't try the swimming pool as we were not there long enough but it looked lovely with a fabulous view over the hills. There is plenty of parking outside the front of the property."

"Lovely place to stay. Very close to the Zooparc de Beauval, which is exceptional. The house is beautiful and the village nice and quiet. No bakery in town anymore, but alternatives closeby. It was very warm during our stay, but the ground floor stays cool. There's a playground next to the house which my daughter (1,5 y/o) adored!"

"We stayed in the lower gite, beds were very comfy, everything you needed was in the kitchen, and the hosts, Anthony and Heidi were everything you would need. Helpful, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Location is perfect for some relaxation, but close enough to the lake and some major towns to make it a perfect spot."
