"Placed in a lovely secluded village in a beautiful bay we had a wonderful time here during February. We tried a number of short walks nearby (over the hills to Fuglafjørdur, around the bay to Oyndarfjødur) and drove to many other places around the Faroe using Hellurnar as a base). We brought our own food and could make use the well equiped kitchen. Great in all weather!"

"This is an amazing, cosy, out-of-modern-times house but with all the modern equipment located in what feels the end if the world. The neighbourhood is stunning, and the morning views from the kitchen are unforgettable. The house is small, but very well organized, warm, comfortable. There is a lot of everything needed to cook, rest, and have a home away from home feel."

"Fantastic remote location in beautiful bay, centrally located to explore all islands. Comfortable rustic house in small settlement to get a sense of living like the locals. Great ambiance in living room and kitchen, feels cosy and warm. Good WiFi plus even Netflix access. Pictures very reflective of accommodation."
"Hot water supply is just enough for quick 4-minute shower (in small cubical), then after few minutes is replenished. Boiler is very noisy when kicking in (not often). Mattress was too thin for our liking, so sleeping on back was best. Salmon farm in bay is noisy and bright at night (not noticable in house though). Despite these, would recommend accommodation and location."
