Luna Apartment

"It was all about the location. In walking distance to so many places and different Metro stations. So many different eateries and bars. The hosts were exceptional in their communication and departure was a breeze. The view from the bedroom was quintessential Madrid. It wasn't required, but we appreciated the presence of air conditioning. The apartment is spacious enough for 2 people and luggage."

"Four flights of stairs can be tough at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Fortunately, the shower works very well."

"Outstanding place. Very cute place with a welcoming, nice, yet unusual design, which already makes it a little special. Precious little gem. But for me its unique quality was that everything was kept in excellent condition. Fridge, freezer, washing machine (with included dryer), dishwasher, bathroom - everything was spotlessly clean and in impeccable state (they might all have been new...they definitely looked as if new). The shower unusually spacious for Madrid standards. Beds were comfortable, I had excellent calm sleep - even though it's barely a minute to walk to Gran Via and really be and feel like in the middle of Madrid's most vibrant spot. Next time I will go to Madrid, I will definitely try to book this apartment again, if I get the chance (it might be too popular). Perhaps not suitable for people taller that 2 meters, they might hit their head."

"The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Also, if you’re tall, be careful as the ceiling is really low at some parts. I banged my head several times.."

"Insgesamt kann ich die Wohnung positiv bewerten, vor allem wegen der sehr guten Lage. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, man kommt überall schnell hin. U-Bahn, Cafés und Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Allerdings gab es in der Wohnung einen unangenehmen Geruch, der während unseres Aufenthalts störend war. Wir haben versucht, mit Kerzen und ständigem Lüften gegenzusteuern, was im Winter jedoch nicht sehr angenehm ist. Außerdem wirkt die Wohnung auf den Fotos besser als in der Realität. Ein weiterer Punkt ist, dass es keinen Aufzug gibt – man muss in den 4. Stock zu Fuß gehen. Für jüngere oder körperlich fitte Personen ist das kein großes Problem, für andere kann es anstrengend sein. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war gut. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung für Madrid im Hinblick auf das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung."
