"We had a wonderful time at El Badawy Camp. The place is very peaceful, the beach amazing, and the service is great, mastered by the very pleasant owner, Rafik."
"Food was mostly good, but we had a dish or two that we liked less than the others. The rooms are basic, and although the air condition was a little noisy, we slept very well. All in all, a great experience that we will gladly repeat."
"I've been coming to Badawy camp for more than 12 years, way before it was on Booking. This is a great place to relax on the beach with minimal people and noise. Yes, the place is not have a 5 star resort and some of their equipments (A/C especially, and the shower pressure) could use updating, but everything is working and less is more in Nuweiba - just small huts on the sea. The staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable."
"It used to be an extremely competitive price; now they have upped them, which makes sense given the prices in Egypt, but the old prices were more suited to the basic level of comfort they offer. Now, for the same price, I might go somewhere else where the equipment has been renewed, despite my life-long fidelity to this place"

"The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had to change rooms (didn't initially get what we ordered) and they helped instantly. Gave us recommendations on where to go snorkeling (don't miss the boat ride to the middle of the reef!) And we even found ourselves chilling and enjoying lovely conversations with them at the beach. The food was basic and nice, the beach clean and quiet. It was very peaceful."
"The rooms weren't very clean and we recommend bringing your own towels (there are none) and linen (there is, but not clean at all). Water pressure in the shower is non existent and the mattress isn't comfortable. All in all - things that are expected from this sort of place that is not a hotel, so really no complaints here"

"We booked a triple room only to arrive and to be told that they had no triple rooms available and only a double. We ended up going elsewhere. They should not be allowed to advertise for rooms that are not available."

"I was kindly allowed to do an early check in due to the overnight travel from Cairo and was picked up from the centre. Amany was great and very friendly but the only english speaker in Seliya. The place is located away from town centre so it's not affected by its noise , however I didn't sleep for 2 nights in a row because of the hotel's dog barking in the internal garden.. which went on for hours in the middle of the night... This was the big and only minus for me. There is not much going on near the hotel but the tuk tuk to town is only 40 Egyptian each way and Amany can arrange food delivery if needed. The place is really pretty and lots of places in the garden when you can hang out or relax, mosquitos permitting. Would be nice to see some mosquitos traps so that the time in garden is more enjoyable."
