"The appartment has a large porch with view of the ocean in the distance, beautiful sunsets. Bed very large and comfortable, good mosquito nets. Fully equipped kitchen. Host very responsive. A few things didn't work at first, she sorted it all out and solved everything."

"Good to know: there are 2 one bedroom appts with front porch and ocean view. And a very large two-bedroom appt that has a porch facing sideways. The latter is very spacious and well-equipped but doesn't have the ocean view. It's great to stay if travelling with larger family, much cooler too because it doesn't have the afternoon sun."

"I absolutely loved how I immediately felt like I was at home. The layout of the space was beautiful and well taken care of. I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay and was even a bit hesitant to leave. I can’t wait to return!"

"Het uitzicht was echt fantastisch en onze host was heel erg vriendelijk. Hier kom ik zeker nog een keer terug. Let er wel op de weg ernaartoe is avontuurlijk. Je gaat de berg op met steile wegen dus ene goede auto is nodig. Maar je krijgt er ook zeker wat voor terug."

"Très beau site, mais il y a encore des travaux. Très calme. Une chambre climatisée sur les deux."

"Il y a 3 appartements et l'appartement avec deux chambres n'offre pas une terrasse avec une belle vue. Les autres ont cette vue. Comme toutes les routes de La Dominique, la route d'accès est très pentue."

"Lage war super, sehr nette Gastgeber. Blick auf den Ozean. Unterkunft neu und sehr sauber."

"It was amazing! Probably our favorite guest house we have ever been to. Location is impeccable, you wake up seeing the sea, feeling the breeze through the open window. Perfect relaxation!! Bed is wonderful, not as hard as often in the region. Everything you need is in the spacious room (water kettle, microwave, etc). Next door is a supermarket and a breakfast spot. On the ground floor there is a great restaurant (taste the fried shrimp!). Last but not least: Christine is a wonderful host, with great recommendations in the region and beyond. We can highly recommend!"

"The appartment is lovely, enough space and the porch area was amazing. It was great watching the sunset from the hamocks and sleeping in the comfortable beds with the sound of the ocean waves. Everything you needed was provided. Downstairs there is a good restaurant serving local food. The area is good and Suzan is a lovely person, giving us all information we needed."

Stephane the owner was always was on hand to answer any questions and to make recommendations for what to visit during your time here. Marina was there to greet us with a smile at breakfast each morning. The location is perfect for exploring the island, the gardens are beautiful and the rooms extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated, spacious, cool and spotlessly clean. Stephane is also busy in the kitchen in the evening to prepare wonderful dinners in the internationally inspired restaurant overlooking the ocean. We highly recommend a stay here at Mango Island Lodge - you won't be disappointed"

"What a nice place and welcome..During 3 days we enjoyed being helped in our choices of visit thanks to Philip whos is really proud of its island and expert of it. We also definitly enjoyed with the delicious meal Connie is able to prepare for you for the dinner. Many thanks to them. The house is situated really close to Roseau centre 15mn but with the benefit to be far enough in moutain side to have a very good air and view and calm."
