"Beautiful house, a mix of luxury and rustic, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The pool is deep and cool, there are comfortable corners to relax, filled with soft mattresses and pillows. Definitely a home, rather than a rental vibe. A place to relax and switch off."

"It is remote. If you don't have a car, you need to be aware of that. The village is tiny, the shop very limited. There was a lack of useful information before arriving. The only restaurant reachable on foot does not open for dinner. You can pre order take away from them and pick up before they close, but this information wasn't available to us. The restaurant is, however, very good, I recommend it for lunch. The property is not actually located in Ribeira Fria, as both the booking.com listing and the address would have you believe. We had a long dusty uncomfortable ride to Ribeira Fria before discovering that the house is actually in Lagedos. Please change the listing to reflect the correct location. Also giving the house a name would be helpful, we didn't know how to ask directions with no property name."

"Maison décorée avec énormément de goût On sent que celle-ci est la maison d’un particulier qui l’habite et non un placement immobilier Madudja a tout fait pour que nous nous sentions en vacances, elle nous a préparé de délicieux petits déjeuner et dîners"

"A very pleasant stay with Carlos and his staff. The building is architecturally interesting, the rooms are clean, the people there friendly, running water is available, all the city's attractions are nearby, and the host organises airport transfers on request.
