"The location. Despite the view being covered with cloud it was still a tranquil place...slowly the cloud disappeared and we were able to enjoy the wonderful view. It was lovely watching the birds and seeing toucans in the trees right in front of us."

"Miguel the host was very helpful the rooms were basic but clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed, the outside area of the patio was exceptional for viewing birds; we saw toucans up quite close. The town was only about an 8 minute drive and there’s a small supermarket down the road 2 minutes away."

"Excelente vista hacia la llanura sancarleña, en la mañana estaba despejado y se podía ver el Volcán Arenal. La cabaña muy cómoda, la habitación muy confortable."

"No hay servicio de desayuno, pero igual se puede preparar un buen café y un desayuno al gusto. La ubicación es inmejorable, pero la llegada es un poco problemática por la angostura y lo empinado de los caminos."

"Meget imødekommende og hjælpsom vært og familie på stedet. Hjalp med bustider og tegner og forklarer gerne .. Værelset rummeligt med ventilation men ret varmt om dagen især.. lille fælles bad og køkken m køleskab og komfur. Mulighed for at sidde ved et bord på lille terrasse udenfor. Gåafstand til cacaotur fra en cafe samt Wild animal Rescue Center. Bus på modsat side af vejen hver time til Cahuita National Park .. Fint nabo hostel Ruca ‘next door’ tilbyder daglige yogaklasser..Men byen er ikke stor, strande og alt meget tilgængeligt.."

"An amazing place to stay — quiet, comfortable, and very spacious. We arrived late at night and Wendy was there to warmly welcome us, which we really appreciated. The cabin had a full kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. The next day, Wendy took us on a boat tour that was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, and the tour was offered at a great price. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much!"
