"Comfortable, clean (not easy in dry, dusty San Pedro) and slightly away from the centre of town. Very quiet at night, so slept well. Shared kitchen has everything you need to self cater. And lovely host Cecilia can’t do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. Great value for what you pay."

"Kindness of the owner Cecilia and her son Carlitos which helped me with everything. The bedrooms are very clean and quite over the night. There is a fully equipped kitchen. There is a common yard with outdoor seats with umbrellas."

"This is a fantastic place, because it is so quiet and peaceful. It is located slightly outside of the city center, in a residential area, and thus you're outside of the tourist bustle. You shop like a local, you eat like a local, and everyone around you is super nice. And if you want to feel the touristy vibe of the town it is just 15 mins walking distance away and quite a pleasant stroll. The hosts, Cecilia y Carlos, are super friendly, modest and extremely helpful, they try their best to make your stay smooth and pleasant. There are only three rooms in the hostal which makes it very cozy. There's a lot of outside space for sitting and enjoying oneself dedicated to the guests. There is also a fully equipped common kitchen where you can cook if need be. The room is spacious, with comfy beds, good quality bathroom and very clean. A lovely cat guards the compound so be prepared to share some kitty snacks!"

"Best part of the stay were the hosts whom we were on contact with - they were really lovely, helpful and friendly. Friendly cat as well! Easy laundry service available for a price. Considering the surrounding environment (hot/dry summer and dusty) of being in San Pedro, this hostel is acceptably clean and comfortable. Not along the main street so it's very quiet at night"

"On a hot summer day, it's a bit of a 10min walk from the main street. But since I valued not being along the main street for a quiet sleep, it's the lesser of 2 evils."

"Good value for money away from the noisy, central part of San Pedro. Friendly owner as part of a family run hostal. Spacious room with fully equipped kitchen available for cooking. 10 mins walk to centre of SP."

"Unexpected oasis in san pedro. As other comments has mentioned, run by lovely couple, super helpful and welcoming. 3 rooms with shared kitchen at the end. Parking within gates compound. No curfew. Absolutely loved the cozy room, would stay again. Location about 15mins walk out of town, perfect for those with car."

"Everything! Cecelia and Carlos are amazing hosts and we really felt at home. Super comfortable and superclean accomodation. Hot water en very nice shower and well equiped kitchen too. Very cute garden to relax and free private parking. Not too far from the centre. Definately recommend and would give 10+ rating if possible."

"It is a lovely place with very friendly owners. First of all, I do not really understand why it is called hostel - every room has its own shower and toilet, and in fact it is rather a very small hotel with access to a nice and neat kitchen (since there are only three rooms, we never even co-used it with anyone, it was to our use all the time). The building is designed in a smart way, so that it is not too hot inside the rooms, and even the absence of A/C was not an issue. It is possible to park a car in the front yard and lock the gate, which makes it very safe place. Normally I am very picky and never stay in hostels, but it is a nice exception."

"The host was extremely friendly and made sure we have everything we need. They also had private secured parking free of charge. They offer same day laundry service. Basic accommodation however extremely clean and has everything needed. The best value for money that you can get."

"Really well kept family run operation. The real star of this place is Cecilia, the owner. When you stay here she honestly treats you like family and makes sure you're looked after. The place has a shared kitchen that has all implements you need when you need to make a meal as eating out every day in San Pedro de Atacama can be costly. The internet uses Starlink and is incredibly reliable, which is helpful if you need to get in touch with family or need a reliable connection to make travel arrangements."

"The hot water system has periods where it doesn't deliver much hot water, so it can take some time to adjust, but other than that there are no complaints - the place is clean, friendly, and value for money."
