"Anka Lodge is located in an irrigated valley about 1.5km from the town centre. Its very peaceful, no traffic and has great views over the adjoining gardens and Lucerne (alfalfa) paddocks. The host Ani is very helpful, was able to answer all our question regarding the region and puts on a great breakfast. Rooms are neat and very clean. We booked for 2 nights but ended up staying two additional days."

Very close to some hikes (by foot or bike) Possibility to cook and prepare coffee during the day We were there in winter but the rooms have heating and our host Ani and her helper fired the fireplace every night We rented The best was Ani, the host: she is the most welcoming person who gave us tips what to do, where to eat. Provided the latest information for opening hours of natural parks."

"Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Just outside the main hustle and bustle but very easy to get into town. We stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. Ani is an amazing host, we received exceptional service, way above and beyond anything we would have expected or asked for. Thanks so much for having us, we hope we can visit again in the future!"

"This is just a fact - it is outside of the town, best to have a car as the pickups from tour guides are not going to reach you here. Same to go for a store or a dinner, we have rented a car, so was not a problem."

The pomegranate trees and figs provided us with a nice addition to our breakfasts. The hosts and help were absolutely amazing in their hospitality, besides sharing their insight and advices they are lovely people to talk with!"

"Sometimes the water pressure dropped causing a temperature spike while showering, and the installed ventilation was insufficient to get the room cool as soon as the sun went down."

"Great place to stay if you are using as a base for adventure round Atacama . This is outside the busy town so quieter . Facilities are good with a full kitchen for use in preparing your own meals ."
