"Great well thought out property. Room was huge. Every room had its own laundry which is a rarity on the island. All appliances were brand new. Property was very comfortable."

"Two nights before leaving we arrived at the restaurant at around 19:45 and told the waitress that all we wanted was a basket of fries. To our surprise, she told us that this was impossible since the kitchen was closed (the closing time for kitchen is 20:00)! When my wife and I were about to leave another couple came in and set on one of the tables and, they ordered their dinner and they were served! I really regretted that after every dinner I had left 15-20% tip. The next day I raised this issue with the reception but they completely brushed it off and did not take it seriously. They didn’t even apologise! During our last dinner, we raised this issue with the restaurant manager however, her reaction as as bad as the reception one. Also, the reception offered to find us a rental car which they did but they overcharged us for a car that was not that nice. Another issue with that particular lagoon is that during the low tide the water gets very shallow and you need to walk being very careful a rather long distance through some sharp corals which cause an uncomfortable pain when you accidentally step on them. However, corals make it a nice place for snorkeling. Coral shoes are a must."

"Sadly …and we appreciate it’s on a remote island and things take time to get fixed … but a number of things were not working or not available … small things …no coffee machine working, no beer machine working…the Island night had been cancelled… just a shame given how special the place was."

"Fantastic, modern property with two pools and beachfront lagoon location. Free kayaks and SUP boards for guests. Excellent snorkeling straight out from the resort. Clean rooms of a high standard and friendly helpful staff."

"We had an incredible stay as a family of four in the two-bedroom accommodation. The thoughtful touches throughout, including the laundry facilities, luggage storage and well-equipped kitchen, made our stay so comfortable and easy. The location is fantastic, with amazing snorkelling and great inclusions like kayaks and paddle boards. The facilities were excellent, and the food was delicious, especially breakfast. The service truly stood out. Trevor is an incredible asset to Tava’e and went above and beyond for our family. When we weren’t able to hire a car due to our own poor planning, he took us to a few shops and even gave us a mini island tour, all while ensuring we made it to the airport on time. Violeta in the restaurant provided wonderful service, and the reception team were all so helpful and accommodating. A special mention to Andrew for his help with scooters and dinner bookings. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone."

"The saltwater pool, the lagoon and available activities, the staff are so friendly and welcoming in all areas, the location is perfect as it is very close to everything you need, being a newer property the rooms are beautifully appointed and clean, and the food in the restaurant is delicious; they do locally sourced food so well and you get exactly what is described on the menu. Also they do a fantastic island night with the best food and entertainment out of all the island nights in the island!"

"We stayed at Resort Tava’e spread out over 8nights and noticed the room service lacked each time with their cleaning standards for the price I paid. Simple things like not vacuuming the floors/hair still visible on the floors in bathrooms etc or a quick mop in areas where there is foot traffic/kitchen. Beds were made and fresh sheets replaced the first few nights and noticed our last few nights stay they weren’t. I accidentally dripped some manoi oil on the bed sheets when we came back later that afternoon same sheets were used not clean ones. Abit yuck when we are out all day in the heat! Lastly staff need to change there attitude not all to high paying guests who can make you feel like your not a in-house guest. Rudeness is real it’s only noticed when you Complain"
