The Residens Krafft Basel and spisestue can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Laptops with wireless internet access and printers are available for free. The view of the historical scenery on the other side of the river is breathtaking - be it from the bistro or the terrace overlooking the lively river promenade. You will get the mobility ticket for free use of all public transport in town during your stay. The Krafft is a classical building with a famous past. For example Hermann Hesse used to stay here writing most of its well-known novel “Der Steppenwolf”. Your herberg booking confirmation is also the ticket for the public transfer from the airport or train station to the bolig. Residens guests are entitled to a 25% discount at the Rebgasse public car park.

"Great location, stunning breakfast room with river views, beautiful decor, comfortable and quiet spaces, coffee machines and water on each floor for a convenient morning cofffe and chocolate, very nice toiletries. Staff are attentive and very welcoming - I even got a "welcome back" card in my room, thank you! I look forward to staying again soon!"

"Maybe a coffee machine in the room would make the whole experience perfect. But the availability on the floor is covering for this. The floors are a bit creaky, but they give a certain charm to the rooms. Once just has to take the shoes off in the room!"

"Hotellet opfylder de basale behov for et standard hotel. Der var pænt og rent. De har ikke aircondition, men blot en blæser på værelset. Receptionisten var sød, hjælpsom og ærlig. Der serveres ikke morgenmad på hotellet, men både restaurant og minimarked findes på den anden side af gaden. Der er larm fra toge når vinduerne er åbne som kører hvert 30 sekund hele døgnet. Tæt på togstationen."
