Det hyggelige Herberg Derby er et uden støjt sted i Fiesch i udkanten af den smalle Rhône-flod, kun 5 minutters gang fra centrum. Det er det perfekte sted at vandre, cykle eller klatre. Derby Hotelstruktur ligger i den vidunderlige Goms-dal i det unikke Aletsch-område med Europas længste gletsjer (Unesco-beskyttelse). Feriebolig Derby er kendt for sin afbalancerede morgenbuffet. Der gives halvpension (middag) i samarbejde med en nærliggende bistro. Der er derudover en bar på residenslet. Gæsterne kan drage fordel af gratis te og kaffe hele dagen. Der er udover det skotørremaskine. Der er sammen et opbevaringsrum til ski- og cykeludstyr.

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Derby. Our room was large and quiet with comfortable beds (two single beds pushed together). As it says in other reviews, everything is a bit old but everything works and is spotlessly clean and for us that is most important. There was a good selection for breakfast and coffee/tea was available for free during the day. They also sell some other drinks and snacks (self-service). It's convenient that the breakfast room can be used for playing a game (many available) or having a drink in the evening. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the railway station and center of the village where there are shops, restaurants, etc."
