Alpenlodge Superior ligger på en solrig skråning i udkanten af Zermatt og tilbyder panoramaudsigt over Matterhorn samt gratis adgang til wellness-området. Den nutidig Zen-balneo-område har sauna og dampbad. Gæsterne kan glæde sig over den fantastiske visuel flugt fra afslapningsrummet over de omkringliggende alpint miljø. Samtlige indkvartering på Alpenlodge Superior er indrettede i elegant, nutidig alpestil og har gratis trådløs internetadgang. Der er fladskærms-tv med kabelkanaler og dvd-afspiller på samtlige lejligheder. Der er desuden badekåber og hårtørrer. Der serveres gratis kaffe, te og kager hver dag. Den hyggelige loungebar med åben pejs er et indbydende sted at slappe af efter en dag i bjergene. Gæsterne kan sammen sætte budget på den fælles terrasse med panoramaudsigt over landsbyen og det imponerende bjerg Matterhorn. Kabelbanen Sunneggabahn og busserne til Matterhorn-svævebanen ligger blot 5 minutters gang fra Alpenlodge Superior. Der kan købes liftkort på pensionatet. Togstationen og Gornergrat-svævebanen ligger 10 minutters gang derfra. Der tilbydes transport til svævebanerne mod et tillægsgebyr. Der tilbydes gratis transport til og fra togstationerne, hvis gæsterne opholder sig 2 nætter eller længere.

"All the staff are very friendly and helpful! For skiers/snowboarders, the location actually perfect. Balcony is facing Matterhorn, just next to the public view point, therefore it’s on the hill, however you can ski/snowboard directly from route 2 ( through the woods) lol so highly recommend this hotel"

"I loved how private and cozy the place was! It's a little bit outside the town, so you're away from the rush of the town. The owners are adorable and provided special breakfast food for my gluten and lactose intolerant friend. In the afternoon you can eat cake and drink tea for free in the lounge, it's so comfy"

"Hotel offered free taxi service from train station because it takes 15 minutes to walk up to the hotel and with luggage is not so easy. Staff is friendly and communicated with us before arrival of how to locate the taxi. Breakfast is wonderful with high quality standard. View of Matterhorn from our loft is great and the balcony is great to sit outside and enjoy the view. Hotel is good location , a little bit away from the busy touristy Zermatt village."

"Hotellet opfylder de basale behov for et standard hotel. Der var pænt og rent. De har ikke aircondition, men blot en blæser på værelset. Receptionisten var sød, hjælpsom og ærlig. Der serveres ikke morgenmad på hotellet, men både restaurant og minimarked findes på den anden side af gaden. Der er larm fra toge når vinduerne er åbne som kører hvert 30 sekund hele døgnet. Tæt på togstationen."
