"The hotel is clean, and the staff are very helpful. I would like to extend my appreciation to all staff of Howard Johnson in Red Deer. My daughter left her stuff toy. I called the hotel and they mentioned that they found it.. They shipped the stuff toy to our house here in Calgary via Canada Post. Its very touching that even small thing like my daughter's toy made it home by their personal care to their guest. This means a lot to us. Thanks Again!!!"

"The two queen-sized beds were like sleeping on clouds, the room was a nice size for the two of us, the bathroom had a tub and nice shower, and there was a small fridge too. The TV was a nice size as well."
"The "light continental breakfast" was an absolute disappointment. The hours were only from 7am-9am. Three of the four cereals were sugar-Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, can't remember the third one, and regular Cherrios, white and brown bread, terrible coffee and black tea, orange juice and bananas."

"That there was no security cameras outside the rooms or in the yard it seem like maybe a higher security system would be best for that area and maybe more lighting in the parking lot at night. Also the windows in the room could use more security features as well"
