"Excellent location just 2 blocks from the Old City Quarter and convenient for the ferry. Clean and comfortable room and a very good breakfast (the landlady’s homemade muesli was exceptional, I had to ask her for the recipe). This accommodation is possibly not suitable for people who dislike dogs, but if you do, the two miniature dachshunds Olly and Izzy are a huge bonus! The landlady Anthea gave us some great tips for our travel in Vancouver island."

It was lovely to have the ability to sit in a lovely garden and off street parking a real bonus. "Anthea couldn't do enough for us. Not a problem with using her washing machine, which we really appreciated! Great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. And to top it off, she has two one-year-old dachshunds (male - Ollie, and female - Izzie) which are adorable and cheeky, and reminds us of home. Keep you bedroom door shut, (we didn't!) as they will go exploring! And the gardens are beautiful and well established."

"Anthea was lovely. Very responsive to messages and happy to allow us a slightly later check in of 630. It was easy to find the location was fantastic. Anthea was really helpful to direct us to food in the area, but also for our onward travels through British Colombia. The accommodation was cozy and clean. She had two lovely daschunds who were very friendly and a great perk of the accommodation. Definitely would stay again"

"We stayed one night at Anthea’s and felt completely at home. She is incredibly welcoming and helpful, and her two adorable little dachshunds are pure entertainment for dog lovers 😄. The room was spotless, comfortably furnished, and breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated her support with our ferry departure: she kindly reminded us about the check-in time, recommended dropping off the rental car the evening before, and even offered to drive us to the terminal early in the morning. That level of care is truly exceptional. We give the highest rating and would love to come back. Thank you, Anthea!"
