The owner and or management seem to have a very unique ability to spot and attract good people... I love this spot, it's a rare thing to stay in an affordable place with Old Montreal right outside the front door. The entrance is literally on Saint Paul!"

"Great hostel with perfect location. We had a private room which was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and showers were always super clean. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. We felt very comfortable in the hostel and would definitely stay there again."

"Excellent location in the city center, it has many amenities and the areas are comfortable for spending time"

"The only downside is that the hotel is divided into two parts: the first is the reception/kitchen/living room, and the second is the bedrooms. So if you sleep in the latter, you have to change clothes every time you want to cook. Also, the rooms are a bit cold at night."

"3 level bunk bed could be a bit low. I wasn't able to fully sit up. I would feel more comfortable if there's a gender specific shower room instead of mixed but overall pleasant experience."

"I liked the cleanliness; availabilty of bathrooms since there were enough of them and I did not have to wait when I needed to use a toilet. The showers were pretty descent & clean and there were also enough showers. The rooms were clean and they provided enough brankets to keep warm"

"On my second night there were some guests that i believe had just moved in. They sounded like teenage boys. Between 5 & 6 pm (If I am not mistaken of the time), they were running around the hall way, screaming and throwing themselves to the ground for a while. I did try to stop the madness but they did not stop entirely. Then at 6 or 7pm they went to the other block for a Lundi Poutine get together. They came back around or 8pm and continued holding loud conversations in the hall way. I wish guests should respect other people by limiting the loud activities to their rooms because I was super tired that night but was subjected to endure the noise."

"The hostel has a perfect location just in front of Bonsecours Market, walking distance of most of the touristic sites in the city, near restaurants, bars, shops, and the metrô station from were it's possible to go everywhere. The staff were always attentive and helpfull. They offer an equiped kitchen were guests can prepare meals."

"The female dorm wasn't ensuite but shower and toilets were close to it. The building has no elevator but the staff helped me going down and up with my suitcase.."
