Dream Valley Belize

"Beautiful grounds with lots of wildlife. The room was spacious and the bed big and comfortable. Water is filtered so you can drink it (unlike in most of the country). Pool are was our favourite spot to get out. We liked having access to a kitchenette. The staff here are really amazing and truly made our stay."

"Kitchenette felt really old, it could do with a refurb. And despite having a stove, there were no pans to cook with. The restaurant food is good but we found it quite expensive. It’s also best if you have your own car as the property is at the end of a long dirt road, and the hotel will charge USD$10 for a one way ride to the local village (which doesn’t has much, but from there you can easily catch the bus to Belmopan, San Ignacio, etc. )"

"My only issue was that no Aircon had been put on in the room prior to our arrival, even half an hour before would have taken the heat down a little. When we arrived we were already warm but the room was like a sauna. We would have loved to chill out and enjoy our room however we could only drop our bags and leave as it was far too hot to stay. There was also pictures of hammocks on the booking advert however these were not in the room which was disappointing. All that said.. The property was beautiful, stunning grounds and felt private and peaceful. The pool was beautiful and we really enjoyed some drinks while cooling off. The two pools offers great choice for peacefulness and plenty of seating. Would definitely come back for another stay and possibly a massage next time too."

"Fantastic staff! Everyone was so accommodating and often went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and well taken care of. The grounds overall are well maintained as this is not the peak season and it has been very hot and rain would make a world of difference. The room was clean and meals excellent at the restaurant. I would return to Dream Valley Belize again!"

"The road from the highway into Dream Valley Belize was rough. Considering we rented a vehicle we had to be cautious and slow down considerably."

"This spot is absolutely STUNNING! The photos don't do it justice. Truly gorgeous grounds, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff--they are absolutely incredible and made our stay that much better."

"The drive there is pretty rough (but understandable given the location.) The beds were very uncomfortable and mattresses should really be replaced. Power outage was not fun, but again understandable given the remote location."

"The sunset view was spectacular, the main pool was great, excellent for swimming laps. The second pool was half empty, perhaps for insurance reasons as it was unattended. Landscaping was incredible. The room was excellent, the bathroom is amazing, and the A/C worked great. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful."

"We loved everything about this place! It is an oasis and a little slice of heaven after 3 days in dusty San Ignacio. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful, the swimming pool is incredible, dinner was absolutely delicious, and we ate it on the veranda overlooking the Belize River. What's not to like? It was amazing. We only wish we could have stayed longer."

"The longish pathway to the bungalow was hard to negotiate with luggage because it's gravel and the roller bags don't work. Also the pool closest to our room did not get cleaned and there was ash from the fires around the location."

"Emplacement absolument fantastique, en surplomb d’un méandre de la rivière. Grand et beau restaurant bien décoré, avec une terrasse époustouflante qui offre une vue dégagée sur la rivière et des arbres gigantesques peuplés de nombreuses espèces d’oiseaux, dont toucans et vautours. Un singe hurleur solitaire basé dans les arbres au-dessus des cabanes et du mini-golf. 2 grandes piscines. Accueil chaleureux, personnel attentionné et souriant. Le restaurant offre de très bons repas, à bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous avons loué un canot pour remonter la superbe rivière. Nous avons pu observer 2 groupes distincts de 6 à 8 singes hurleurs, avec de petits bébés, perchés dans les branches de figuiers directement au-dessus de l’eau."
