"At first my husband was a bit worried about how far out of town we were but after the first day he loved being away from the noise and business. Very easy on the provided bikes and we loved coming home in the dark after dinner to our peaceful haven. Fully equipped kitchen with nice sets of utensils, cutlery and crockery...not like the bits and pieces and everyone elses rejects that you often find in kitchens."

"We had such an amazing week at Costa Nube — honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Aldo and Kolleen were incredible and really went out of their way for us the whole time, from picking us up from the ferry port to sending us recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The facilities were absolutely amazing. The property is beautifully maintained, spotless, with comfortable rooms, great communal spaces, and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing island stay. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and the tropical surroundings — it felt like our own little paradise. The complimentary bikes were absolute lifesavers too and made getting around the island so easy. We loved it and would 100% stay again. Highly recommend!"

"Hosts were lovely, always available to help with little things from organising transport, recommending things to do, restaurants etc. Bed was big and comfy and the house has a great rooftop, they also supplied extras such as snorkeling gear and bikes. I can highly recommend staying here, we had a great stay"

"The upside of it being a little further out from the centre was the fact that it was very quiet and relaxing. The downside is, in our case it had just rained a lot and we had to cycle through puddles to get to the centre (approx 10-15 mins). I do think it was worth it though as it was very loud in the centre!"

"The host! Coleen the host was such a genuinely lovely person that cared greatly about her guests and about keeping the accommodation in perfect order. She was so quick to respond and nothing was too much bother, she made our stay perfect!"

"Almost the whole island was affected with sargassum during our stay and the smell of it was quite strong close to the accommodation."

"Superbly relaxing place just out of the main town - a lot of care has been taken by the hosts to provide everything guests may need. The room was very well equipped, it was great having the use of the bikes to ride into town and the rooftop areas are lovely to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Hosts were very helpful with local recommendations and organising transport to and from the water taxi. We loved our stay in Caye Caulker - it really was the best snorkelling I have ever experienced!"

"Super beautiful location with amazing rooftop decks, incredibly kind hosts, lots of equipment that we were allowed to borrow (paddle boards, snorkeling gear, bikes, headlamps…). The hosts also provide filtered drinking water and offer to use an open BBQ area. The AC works perfectly, no insects were in the apartment, everything was perfectly clean! It is located about 15 min by bike away from the busy town; and due to it’s remote location, it was super peaceful. We saw amazing stars, light bugs, and felt like living in the jungle."

"The hosts Aldo and Koleen couldn't have been more accommodating. The room itself was so clean, and I'm very funny about cleanliness in accommodation! The location is about 30 mins walk away from the party centre of the city, and so it's such a nice, calm escape after a chaotic day. The communal zones to chill out on the roof are wonderful spaces to stargaze and watch the sunset. Aldo and Koleen have thought of everything - they provide beach towels, headlamps, yoga mats, bikes - lots of little home comforts to help you make the most of your stay. They also shared a bunch of recommendations with us and really put us at ease on the island. We spent a wonderful Christmas here. "Absolutely nothing, we adored this place. The only thing to be aware of is that the second half of the walk back from the town centre to the accommodation is a bumpy dirt track with some wildlife and you need a torch to navigate it, so might not be suitable for prams / pushchairs or small kids, unless you're happy to pay for the golf cart taxis from town."
