Phazama Farm

"My stay in Phazama Lodge was magic: it gives a feeling of staying in a bush but with all the conveniences. Katja cares for her guests in the same way as for friends. Ask her about suggested activities, and, if you want, about life in Botswana :). Chalets are far from each other, so you have necessary privacy. I loved going to bed watching sunset from my deck and waking up to the sounds of nature."

"Stunning place. Chalets are off grid, which is wonderfully peaceful. Beautiful view of the flood plains with exceptional sunsets. Katja and Peter were wonderful, very accommodating, helpful and kind. The chalet had all we needed for a comfortable stay."

"Not property specific. Just a tip for other travellers: make sure you have a 4x4, or an all wheel SUV if traveling in the wet season. The road gets flooded in spots and gets muddy. Our Subaru Forester did a great job, but a 2 wheel drive wouldn't fare so well."

"The location was amazing. We were there in the dry season, and it was wonderful ... incredible bird life and surroundings, so in the wet season it must be amazing with the animals so much closer."

"This is a special place. On the edge of Okavango, near a floodplain, you'll find an oasis of peace. Phazama is about a 30-minute drive from Maun, so it is suitable for multi-night stays. The chalets are spacious and clean, with private bathroom and kitchenette. If you don't feel like cooking you can go to the farm next door. Katja and Peter are absolutely perfect hosts. We keep coming back."
