"Everything about the Homestay wowed us. The Host and her Family were wonderful. A lively place with 2 Kids of the Host, 1 Pet Dog and more than 3 Cats. We especially loved the Food for Dinner, pure Bhutanese Home Cooked Cuisine. If you want to feel the typical Bhutanese lifestyle, this place is highly recommended. The window in the Bedroom offers an excellent view of the Punakha Dzong. You would literally feel floating above the Clouds. For thrill seekers, driving to the Homestay would give you a lot of adrenaline rush. Highly recommended."

"Amazing location overlooking the Punakha valley and especially the dzong. Rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable enough and clean. The shared bathroom has a geyser with hot water. The dining area is a nice area to hang out or just admire the views and there is also a seating area outside. The homecooked food was fabulous in terms of both quality and quantity. Recommended."
"My driver wasn't a fan of the road up to the property. The access road certainly isn't in great condition in places, but the main concern is if it rains you may not be able to get back to the main road."

Toilet/RR&bath rooms may need tile.dadoing works on walls & floors to give hygienic look instead of cement floors with simple fittings & fixtures"

"Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting."
