Hostel Mostel Sofia ligger i en renoveret bygning fra det 19. århundrede i et fredeligt område midt i Sofia. Der er et avantgarde fælleskøkken. Metrostationen Serdika ligger 10 minutters gang fra vandrehjemmet. De komfortabelt indrettede logi har egne og fælles faciliteter. Alle hyggelige rede har gratis wi-fi, og der er mulighed for at låne computere på anmodning. Gæsterne kan bruge den fælles stue, hvor der billardbord. Personalet i receptionen kan arrangere pub crawls og endagsudflugter. Hostel Mostel Sofia ligger 25 minutters gang fra busstationen. Der ligger flere klubber, barer og restauranter en kort gåtur derfra. Sveta Nedelia-katedralen samt det arkæologiske museum ligger lige i nærheden.

"The house was a renovated original old Bulgarian house with nice folkloric decoration and amenities. The lady who received us was very warm and responsive, she even bought special bread for my husband who has diabetes. Thank you, Minka! The room was quiet, very basic but with all necessary equipment. The bed was comfortable."
