"There are many comments in reviews about cleanliness. In truth it is not spotlessly clean and the carpet in my room really does need replacing, but basic cleaning is OK. It is an old building and has real character and is great value. This more than compensates for old furniture and lack of regular deep cleaning"

"I stayed in the room with a double and single bed and private bathroom. It is in an ideal location with a fabulous view from the balcony. It is a large room with quiet, efficient air conditioning. I think of the decor as having character but others will think it old and drab."
