"If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."

Nothing really. Except that the stay here was too short to enjoy all the options. Our mistake afterall. And I said that already anyway.

"Simples e aconchegante, quarto tamanho médio, frigorífico em ótimas condições, jarra elétrica no quarto, há 6 chás 2 águas, a cama era confortável, macia, lençóis brancos, macio e pareciam bem limpos, toalhas brancas limpas e cheirosas, o quarto parecia limpo, TV em ótimo funcionamento, fácil acesso, fácil contato com administradores, 1km do centro mais ou menos. Casa de banho em bom estado, parecia limpo, com sabonete e tapete a água quente boa."

"The family that runs this Pansion was very kind, from the very beginning till we left the place. They showed us a map and gave directions to S. James Church and other places to visit, which was very useful. They made us a delicious dinner late at night, and a home style breakfast. They are a very welcoming family, Thank you!"

"The location was out of this world. Having various room types: stone houses, bungalows or tents. Clean & calm if you are searching for some relaxation in the middle of the nature. "Located five minutes from the Jesuit ruins, the Posada Maria is a good base for exploring the region. The hotel is very clean and modern and has everything you need for a short stay. The pool is great to cool off on the warm summer days and the breakfast is amazing, a true continental one with delicious bread (hard to come by in South America) and a good variation of products. We had dinner here as well, which was super good as well. German kitchen, but refreshing after our month travelling around! Staff is very kind and friendly and can give tips and advice! When the rain started dripping through the roof into our room, we immediately got another one. Very smooth!"

"It was clean and cute. The room was warm. I liked that they put some sweets and tea for the welcome"

The room was on the ground floor opening right into the courtyard where they serve breakfast. So it was noisy (after 9 am I could not sleep), and it was not possible to open the windows to get a bit of natural light or air because of the privacy. The shower was with an open ceiling and didn't have any ventilation. Also, the wall between the bathroom and the room was not full height so after taking shower the steam was going into the whole room. We even asked for another room but there was no reception, only a person (as a security I guess) who said I don't know. He did not even know English and the communication was through Google Translate.

"The room and the whole atmosphere/service felt more like a classical hotel than a hostel, so the price was more than fair. The staff are extremely engaged in making their guests feel comfortable and they even organized fresh glutenfree bread for breakfast. The location is a little off in Zona 10, but everything needed is within reach by foot and/or taxi."

My room had a desk, which accommodated electric plugs, but there were none beside the bed. When the window was not open, the air got a little stuffy, presumably from the included bathroom.

"The English style. Cosy sitting room with a nice collection of pousse-café. Quiet surrounding ar walking distance from De Haan's center. Comfortable bed, quiet airy room. Great shower."

"The house is beautiful. It’s in front of the river with beautiful views, rooms are great , beds comfortable and walking distance to restaurants, etc otherwise you get Yandex which is ridiculously cheap. The lady who runs guest house it’s very nice and helps."

It was very noisy until quite late night from other guest, there are signs to be quiet after 10pm but they ignored it, I complained and I was moved to a quieter room. Apart from that all good.

The hot shower was a bit troublesome but we eventually got it to work
