"The communication from Kadesha was fast and reliable. The check-in experience was smooth. She was kind enough to allow an earlier check-in and when our flight was moved, she granted us a later check out time (with a small fee of course). She answered all our many questions with grace and kindness and even took us to to the local supermarket and mall. The property is exactly as listed and she is very proactive in pre-empting the needs of her guests. She had a map of hotspot locations and places of interest, she had sunscreens available, insect repellent, reliable WiFi, suitable crockery, functional washing machine and ample garden size for children to entertain themselves in. Neighbour in front and to the side so you will hear occasional barking but it's not loud enough to disturb sleep. If you want an authentic place to stay, that is safe, close to good transport links, quiet but not eerily so, then this is the place. Kadesha we will be back!"

"We had such a wonderful time at this place! It truly had the vibe of a home away from home. Falling asleep to the sound of birds and being surrounded by a garden was pure calmness. We loved relaxing with the door open and listening to the sounds of nature. You’re already awake and getting ready to enjoy the gorgeous paradise beach, which you can reach in just a 10-minute drive with golden sand and crystal-clear waters. The person who welcomes you is the most important part of the experience and Kelvin was more than helpful with everything! Creative, always quick to respond, happy to help with any questions and with such a lovely human vibe. You can really feel this energy in the way the place is created. The house has character and that is so important. We stayed for one week and ended up extending our stay! Keep creating and preserving this authentic local style with such warm hospitality."

"Location is perfect, I’ve stayed a few different areas on South coast but this is in a great spot at the end of the Gap. Also it’s only a short walk close to the main road to jump on the buses. Bed was very comfy, all amenities for self catering there & host Brian on hand whenever I needed help/advice 😊"

"Our 2nd stay at ShkyBlue (we topped and tailed our trip to Grenada with a couple of days in Barbados) and this time we had a superior room with a balcony where you could sit and see the sea. The room is spacious with a TV, fridge, kettle and a nice walk in shower room. The hostess Shane was there to greet us when we arrived and makes sure there are thoughtful touches in the room like some bottled water in the fridge, beach towels, hairdryer and if you've forgotten something just ask she can usually help you out. A massive plus was being able to store our bags and have a freshen up there after we checked out which meant we could spend our last day at the beach before our late night flight. Shane and her lovely dog Jax made us feel right at home, there's a nice little garden area with herbs and plants growing and even gave us some cooking ingredients to take home as we really love Caribbean food. We're glad we chose to stay at ShkyBlue on our return leg."
