Steep, winding road up from town. Car access only, almost impossible to walk.

Nach der Bitumen mußten wir ungefähr 500m in einer nicht bitumierte Straße. Leider sind nicht alle Straßen in Yaoundé mit Bitumen

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

La sig.ra Gina incarna l'ospitalità e l'accoglienza che ogni ospite desidera ricevere; empatica e mai invadente, generosa nel donarsi, attenta e cordiale. Camere, ambienti comuni interni e giardino sono molto curati, la pulizia impeccabile. Io sono vegana e a colazione mi sono sentita più che accolta. "Facility was extremely nice, high ceilings with crown molding made it feel bigger than it actually was. Decor was very nice, and there were amenities aplenty. Huge balcony facing the Gulf. It felt like we were staying in our own ready-made home, complete with old Bible with plenty of notes :-)"

Refrigerator was very nice and modern, but the ice machine put out ice with mold on it. We checked the ice tray itself, and the ice was fine, so guessing the dispenser was to blame. The jacuzzi jets, as well, blew out particles of mold, some significant, when engaged. We did not see this in the tub until after the water had been drained. We did not let these factors detract from the overall experience, but, but mold is a pretty major thing that we'd suggest checking more often. Be aware that the check-in instructions you get from your booking agency may not reflect actual conditions/requirements, but this is not a problem with the host.

"Location near the sea and grocery store. Found also a home bakery nearby. Beautiful, a bit rustic town under pine trees. Sandy beach and lot of quiet streets to discover. Appartment was warm, nice, and had all the basic things. Lovely yard."

There was no bed sheet for the second bed (sofa), and when we opened the sofa, there was sand from the previous visitors. The hosts reacted to our request and it was cleaned. Some other tiny issues - only 2 mugs in the cupboard (4 glasses), and the 3rd cup was found on the floor of shower room. We missed washing up liquid and kitchen towels too.
