"From the beginning when I booked, contacted in private, for further information, the host has been very nice. The place is located in a small hill with an amazing view and rivers sound. "It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay."

The road to the property is a little bumpy

"Used as a night stop over before catching ferry next day. Midway between airport and ferry port. Room had everything required, was clean and having bar and restaurant on roof is a nice thing as not much else is around in the area. Staff were attentive."

There were small irritations. TV on arrival was not working but sorted after a message to hotel. Signage to bar restaurant is incorrect should be removed. Took a while before being advised of alternative entry point. Check out process could had been more efficient. Taxi driver ended up paying cash for me as lady with card machine not available

Det var dejligt varme dage, og lejligheden blev meget varm. Ventilatoren blev flittigt brugt. På sigt kunne I overveje at lave en hyggekrog i gårdhaven, så man kan sidde ude.

"Once inside the apartment, it is a different story: the apartment is spacious, well-designed, and clean. Also, the view of the surrounding area is magnificent - it does welcome one to Addis Ababa. The apartment caretaker, Selechi, is very resourceful and helpful in providing any needed information; he will go a distance to help guests order food and drinks. Kudos Selechi; keep up the good work."

The train rail track in front of the apartment hotel makes it difficult for taxi drivers to pick up or drop off a guest. The rail track extends to about 2 miles past the hotel; the Chinese contractors need to revisit that project.

Some accesss to food - e.g., breakfast. Food on the island is extremenlty expensive from stores. Some neighbors were noisy.

No decent windows.

"Nice setting, clean and comfortable room. Liked seeing the wildlife and walking the trails. In addition to the pool there's also table tennis, a football table and other games you can play which is a nice touch."

There was no tea or coffee in the room. Instead coffee was changed at an excessive rate. The same applies to the resturant: I always expect to pay over the odds in a place like this but this really was excessive! The final thing I thought was harsh is the 10 am check out time especially at low season.

Free Wi-Fi connection was sometimes unstable, especially during the evening.

We are seniors, so walking up to the hotel was hard. The internet was not up to scratch, but all in all, I actually liked the place.

Der var lidt småting ved køkkenet, som trak ned, men ikke noget graverende: kaffemaskinen var utæt, og blændpladen over opvaskemaskinen var klistert nødtørftigt fast, så den fald af midt om natten, hvilket gav et ordentligt brag. Så absolut småting, men ting som burde være iorden.

Kigali is a city which is really spread out so therefore there is no central part as such. It is with an easy reach of the airport and the city centre by Taxi. I would make this a destination Hotel. Extremely good value for money and you need to try the Rwandan breakfast

"Great location. Just few minutes away walking to the beach and good restaurants. The apartment is clean, tidy and more spacious than seen in the pictures. There was storm Benjamin when we were there! Hence we couldn't go far. But it was my husband's birthday, so we wouldn't just stay inside. So I booked the Noordzee restaurant just literally across the apartment. (6-7m away), and we had a fantastic dinner! Joost & Nicolette are good hosts and responsive"

The bed is a bit too soft to our liking. And thankfully we're at the 1st floor so we didn't need to climb the steep stairs too much.

There was no hot water in the studio apartment..at least they should have installed a hot water heater in the shower would be better. the WiFi keeps going on and off.The TV had only 4 to 5 channels.Well, it's Solomon Islands. Everything there is yet to be upgraded.

Vores altan vendte ud til en grim baggård og var i skygge det meste af tiden. Vi brugte den faktisk slet ikke. Og vi havde ovenikøbet bestilt en superiour appartment.

The room looked much better than the pictures and was very clean. All the amenities necessary was provided in the room with a bonus plate of chocolates. The bed was comfortable! Overall, the Anne guest house was outstanding! There is honestly not enough space for me to write all the compliments I have for this guest house."

The tv in the room is small and the tv options are limited in the room but it is not something that makes me not want to come back. I will definitely return.
