"I've stayed at this place for over 20 years and it has always been reliable. It is clean, quiet, and safe. This is not luxury of course and the furniture might be from a few generations ago but it is practical and very very clean. There is a small kitchen to allow you to make coffee and other small dishes. For the price it is an excellent choice and the location is superb."

It would be nice if it would be able to heat the room a little bit more. Traditional places in Lima tend to not bother much with heating or air conditioning because the temperature usually stays the same at around the 60s

"Nice setting, clean and comfortable room. Liked seeing the wildlife and walking the trails. In addition to the pool there's also table tennis, a football table and other games you can play which is a nice touch."

There was no tea or coffee in the room. Instead coffee was changed at an excessive rate. The same applies to the resturant: I always expect to pay over the odds in a place like this but this really was excessive! The final thing I thought was harsh is the 10 am check out time especially at low season.

"One word .....Fabulous !The apartments were spotless.The location was great and only a 15 minute walk to the shopping mall.The accommodation was well equipped and good sized.All the staff were very friendly and helpful.Will definitely stay here again when I visit Zambia again."

Not really suitable without a car, it’s quite a steep walk up from Camp’s Bay and then have to walk through the basement car park to access the apartments. I found it quite expensive just for a studio compared to other accommodation I have used but Camps Bay is a more expensive area.

Cleaning service could come more often

"El hotel en general es muy bonito, y la piscina está muy Bien: Mis chamos no querían salir de la piscina, en especial por el pequeño "Parque" acuático que tienen en las instalaciones de la piscina. Las piscinas las mantienen muy Bien limpias, incluso fuimos testigos de la limpieza exhaustiva que realizaron a la piscina de niños. El personal de mantenimiento le damos un buen "pulgar arriba". Se nos daño la cerradura y la cambiaron Al mismo momento en el que lo reportamos, a pesar de que tenían "various casos de emergencia" que necesitaban atender. Muy bien por El líder de mantenimiento."

El desayuno fue un desastre. Cuando llegamos nos asignaron una muchacha para hacerle seguimiento a nuestra "experiencia" en El hotel y nos dijo: "El desayuno es a la Carta, así que no hay que preocuparse". La verdad es que solo habían 3 tipos de desayuno y eran sumamente estrictos (no se podía cambiar pan por arepa por ejemplo). La Carta decía "huevos Al gusto", sin embargo no había huevos hervidos. A la final nos lo prepararon (porque Les explicamos que eran para Los niños) no sin antes mostrar una cara de desacuerdo y "volteada de ojos" no muy agradable. Por otro lado, El hotel estaba casi full (hecho corroborado por Los mismos administradores / trabajadores del hotel), y la disponibilidad de mesas era escasa, en incluso se hacían colas, especialmente, cerca de la hora de cierre del restaurant (10a.m.). Como especialistas en Gerencia e Ingeniería de costos, entendemos claramente que el objetivo de servir "desayunos a la Carta", es tratar de bajar costos (no toman en consideración que bajar costos en la situación de ocupación en la que se encontraban significa incrementar estrés a su personal y al turista), sin embargo eso se puede hacer con El hotel a poca ocupación (quizas igual o menor Al 30-40%) no con el hotel a 80% de ocupación. La mejor manera de manejar la comida con dicha ocupación, es preparar desayunos tipo Buffett. Se lo hicimos saber a la Gerente encargada del restaurant, sin embargo la misma no recibió la sugerencia de buenas maneras.

Sound proof should be better. Everyone will wake up if somebody using the toilet. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay.

- The entry to the hotel is not clear. One has to walk through a long small street to reach a small door. No taxi can arrive there. You have to walk with your luggage about 250 mts for a small stone street. - No toilet paper - Not possible to pay with credit card, which, being so expensive, makes it that you have to bring a lot of cash with you, and in town there is only a place to change money, and for that reason, the exchange rate is very bad

"It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay."

"Skøn, velindrettet lejlighed. Let administration. Venlig imødekommenhed pr mail og telefon. Parkering i gården."

Det var dejligt varme dage, og lejligheden blev meget varm. Ventilatoren blev flittigt brugt. På sigt kunne I overveje at lave en hyggekrog i gårdhaven, så man kan sidde ude.

"Morgenmaden var fin og efter de lokale standarder, meget god. Udvalget var ikke stort, men det var veltilberedt. Aftensmaden var godt tilberedt - smagfuldt. Deres woodfired pizza, kan i sær anbefales. Udsigten til vandet, restaurantets terrasse, der ligger på første paket, var bestemt et stort plus. Vi sad på terrassen og spiste hver gang vi spiste dér. Betjeningen var virkelig behagelig og meget venlig og imødekommende. Hotellet ligger lige ud til middelhavet og der er udsigt til vandet fra alle lejligheder, så selvom vi fik nogle på bagsiden af hotellet, havde vi stadig god udsigt. Vi fik en del valuta for pengene."

Vi havde lejet 2 lejligheder på hotellet. Den ene var rimelig udrustet til fx at lave mad og spise, mens den anden var sparsomt equiperet. Vi spiste i lejligheden et par gange. Det fungerede fint. Deres belysning overalt i lejligheden er skrækkelig - men det lader til at være sådan man møblerer. Lyset var skarpt og koldt LED lys i alle rum. Toilet/Bad var ikke luksuriøse, men rene. Aircon. virkede i alle rum, men nogle bedre end andre. Vi brugte det ikke. Sengetøjet var rent, sengene meget hårde (Tror det er typisk for Albanien). Der var en del myg, som vi ikke kunne holde ude trods net og lukkede vinduer. Rengøringen var ok, blot man ikke flyttede rundt på møblerne.

"We arrived after 8.30 so there was no one at the desk. However, the instructions to enter were very clear, and we got to our room successfully. On entry, it was really cold and not enough blankets, so sleep was not good on the first night.We didn't know how to turn on the heating and the TV was not set up. There was no milk to make a beverage, so we had to try and find a shop for the simple supplies. We found a number to call on the following day, "which was Sunday," and a very helpful young man sorted out the problems. Overall, our stay was pleasant,and once the issues were sorted, and staff are very friendly and helpful."

"Et rigtig dejligt hus ,med stort køkken,med alle små fornødenheder ,salt,peber,sukker ,kaffe o.l., ligeså stor spise/dagligstue. Vær. 3 lille ,men ok.da der var så fine fællesarealer. Hyggeligt at mødes om aftenen og udveksle rejseoplevelser, ligeså meget hyggeligt at få “besøg” af Marna et par gange om dagen,hun er en herlig og imødekommende værtinde,og god til at give Færøske tips."

"Great staff on reception - very friendly and helpful, especially since I was the only guest in the hotel during the low season. The room was at an excellent rate and was very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. The reception staff got me a kettle when I asked and I slept well."

Construction works are going on in the area and at the hotel in winter. Theh hamman, spa and bar and restaurant are all closed in winter too - all understandable and no huge deal and there's plenty in the area open all the time.
