Tias Hostel

"Loved this hostel! Super friendly volunteers (Ivy and Bek were amazing). Hostel organised hike which was great and all accommodation needed. Hostel owner also took us cliff jumping which was super fun. Would stay again! Social with evening dinners shared but everyone still went to be relatively early."

"The rooms were spacious and the beds had curtains which was nice. Unfortunately there were no towels. Also there was free dinner and breakfast. The staff was really nice and helpful with good recommendations. I would stay there again."

"Large private room. Was awesome to receive a free dinner. We got to connect with other travelers and share stories. The staff helped us book our transport to Valbonë and back from Theth. You can also buy a package deal here (we did not use it). Great WhatsApp group for extra information. Was perfect for a couple looking to connect with other travellers."

"We had a great stay with Tia’s! The accomodation was ideal for us 3 people and very clean. We did the hike from Theth to Valbonna through Tia’s also who organised the whole transport/ hike/ accomodation and made it very easy for us. The 2 nights of accomodation while on the hike were also so nice and authentic. Would recommend staying whilst in Shkoder."

The hostel offers a tasty breakfast for free and also cheap bike rental, laundry service and multiple hiking trips. Additionally, the hostel is just 2 minutes away by walking from the main street with restaurants and bars."

"I have to say it's loud. This place is big and beautiful. Because of the low season, I was upgraded to a better room for the same price. I did the famous hike Theth—Valbona with those few other guests. It was a blessing. Everything was organized, including packed lunches, accommodation, transportation, and everything included. It was the best part of my trip to Albania."

"Very nice and clean hostel. Our room was so beautiful with a little balcony. We choose this hostel because of the Theth – Valbona they organize. It was low season, so not many of us where on the hike, but it was perfectly organized with packed lunches, accommodation, transportation and meals included for all the stay in the mountains. On the other side they do have some nice daily tours they organize around the area. Definitely it’s a place to be."
