"This hostel feels more like a boutique hotel than a typical hostel. The staff are extremely welcoming, helpful, and genuinely caring. Everything is very well organized and you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with soft sheets and good beds. Lockers are practical and secure. The shared bathroom was very clean, spacious, and well maintained . The breakfast was excellent and generous, with local specialties, fresh bread, fruits, vegetables, and a variety of jams. There was plenty of choice. The atmosphere is also a big plus,. very social, relaxed, and it really feels like a small community where it’s easy to meet people."

"Everything was perfect!Excellent location in the old town. Very special place to stay. Lovely, kind and helpful hosts, very clean and comfortable facilities, very generous fresh breakfast provided. Berat is a lovely place to stay with lots of things to keep you occupied for a few days....a day trip from Tirana doesn't do it justice."

"Very friendly staff and perfect location. The common areas (kitchen, relaxing area, dinning area etc) is very cozy and very well equipped. Very clean as well. Very good and complete breakfast."

"Wow, this hostel was amazing! The owner, Refat, couldn't have been more kind, friendly and welcoming. The cooked breakfast [included, which is rare these days], is prepared by his lovely Mum with petula's to die for. The whole hostel is absolutely spotless, with restful common areas both inside and outside. It's close to the bus stop and all the sights. I highly recommend this fabulous hostel to everyone who visits Berat. 10/10😊"

"Unfortunately during my stay I got stuck with a bunch Israeli and "no politics: people guests so I couldn't socialise as I usually would. Lucky for them they can enjoy their freedoms whilst generations of Palestinians continue to die 🙃 I don't really blame the hosts since they are small local bsuiness trying g to get by but from my experience, Albania as whole might want to look at why there tons of Israelis there."

"Such a lovely hostel, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the vibe was really warm. Met some great people here! The facilities were clean and comfortable with everything you need, there’s a great common area/bar where you can meet people and they run social events regularly though I didn’t experience one due to the timing of my stay. The free breakfast is also delish. Would also recommend to take the canyon tour which was really informative and fun with beautiful views!"

"Just something to be aware of if you’ve got a hire car, there is parking however it’s up quite a narrow and broken road next to the hostel - managed fine when driving slow!"
