Forest House

"Forest House – en perle med udsigt Forest House har en fantastisk beliggenhed med en betagende udsigt over byen. Værelserne er hyggelige og smagfuldt indrettet med masser af hjerte og sans for detaljen. Foran værelserne ligger en stor terrasse, hvor man kan sidde og nyde roen og udsigten. Morgenmaden var helt enestående – lækker, frisk frugt fra haven, masser af friskbagt brød, ost, marmelade og honning. Alt serveret med varme og omhu. Værterne er utroligt søde, opmærksomme og hjælpsomme. Den eneste lille ulempe er adgangen – det er ikke muligt at køre helt op til huset i bil, da vejen er smal og stejl. Hvis man ikke er gangbesværet, kan man dog sagtens gå op – det kræver lidt sved på panden, men belønningen er en uforglemmelig udsigt over Berat. Vi parkerede i byen og blev hentet af værternes datter, som var utrolig sød og nem at kommunikere med. Vores varmeste anbefaling!"

"Very kind host. Nice view and lovely rooms. Traditional breakfast is served in the morning. It is a steep, but nice 10-minute-walk to the center of Berat. It was a pleasure to stay at Forest House."

"We stayed here as a family with two kids and absolutely loved it! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, with real homemade food and local flavors. Everything was very clean and well kept. The terrace is beautiful and offers a great view of the city — we enjoyed having our morning coffee there. A wonderful stay overall, and we would happily come back again!"

"The only thing to be aware of is the access road — it’s a bit steep, narrow, and not very clearly marked. Clearer directions would definitely help future guests. It’s also good to know that the walk to the center isn’t far, but it does involve going uphill"

"The service was fabulous and the family were very nice people. It was a really great room and the views are brilliant. The lovely big shared deck was a bonus."

"As we had to walk from where a taxi dropped us below it we couldn’t find the place as there are no signs saying Forest House down below or on the way up, however our SOS text was responded to quickly and before we knew it they had come to rescue us. Don’t let your taxi drop you at the bottom as apparently they can drop you much closer up the hill."
