"Fantastic terrace with a castle view. Worth climbing few meters to see this view. Very comfortable bed. Kind people working here too. Hot water and very clean showers and rooms."

"Just because it's an old building doesn't mean that cannot get some maintenance. Drawer in the kitchen falling apart, door handles going off, doors not closing properly. If the place would invest just a little in the basic maintenance would be the most perfect in town! Please do so, as it's so beautiful place and sad that those small things are not taken care of."

"Fantastic hostel with a beautiful outdoor terrace area under grape vines, pomegranate and persimmon trees. Our room was huge in the grand old house that's been converted to a hostel. So much character! Fantastic location within easy walking distance of everything you need and a view across to the castle. I'd absolutely stay again."

"Point off for the shower randomly going cold and the draughty windows - we were a bit unlucky that it was pretty cold overnight while we were there!"

"Absolutely gorgeous hostel - almost feels like a boutique hotel. Extremely old house with loads of character and in stunning condition, typical to the region. Beautiful terrace area to chill or eat breakfast. The included breakfast spread was generous. Staff cannot be faulted - wonderful guy at the reception who checked us in and explained all the tours and activities and the housekeeping ladies are super sweet and helpful. Felt like a home. We did the winery tour booked through the hostel which was excellent. Laundry was also quick and easy. The neighbourhood is gorgeous and we almost preferred the Gorica side of town to the main side. Felt very authentic and quiet. Also loved our room - dark, comfortable, cosy, amazing bed and a great night's sleep."

"The whole place felt very clean. The staff were all really chill and nice. The whole building itself is beautiful and cool inside even when blaring outside, so a great escape. I loved that there were really good bunk beds with curtains, which made sleeping so much easier."

"The door to my room was really creaky so you could hear people coming in and out all the time. The outdoor area could have more comfortable seating for lounging."

"One of three hostels that form a group that rotates evening events - quiz, meal etc - so you get to meet lots of people. Lovely brick building with terraces and excelllent facilities."

"Beautiful place with a beautiful view and everything is reachable by foot. The staff and the people were very nice and the rooms were comfortable The kitchen is outdoors which was fine by us even though the stove didn’t work… but they offered us to cook in another hostel close by"

"Excellent location, great staff, solid breakfast, plenty of communal areas, with the view on the 1000 windows. Well organized, sometimes they have activities at night and they can help you with tours. Wifi was pretty good but some zones of the property is out reach."

"I tried two different bunk beds in 3 nights and there is huge lack of support. The mattresses are fine, it’s an hostel, but some wooden laths are missing and my sleep has been pretty bad."
